Paul Cafcae, is already a mature (professionally speaking) artist with two LP under his belt: Sophisticated and Miss July (to be released in September), of which its first namesake single will be soon released.
Born in the Soviet Union, his mastery of the art of music comes from his in depth studies on this subject which also led him to be able to play 6 different instruments.
Since his arrival in Canada, Paul has played in different cover bands and in 2018 he has founded 20 Flight Rockers, a rockabilly-blues party band with some originals and lots of covers.
Influenced by great names such as The Beatles, Elton John, Roy Orboson, Elvis Presley, and Canadians artists such as Whitehorse and David Myles, his music is a particular mix of classic rock n’ roll with a very peculiar beat, able to deliver an upbeat, relaxing, hopeful sound. Indeed, Cafcae aims to deliver intense songs charged with deep feelings built on cathartic melodies and lyrics, as a modern storyteller inspired by real stories.
From this artist, fans can expect joyful music that will inspire them and that will make them forget about all the challenges that we are constantly forced to face.
Miss July, is Paul Cafcae’s new single, out the 24th of July, and the title track of his namesake's upcoming album: also, a tribute to The Beatles, one of his biggest influences.
Arising guitar lines set the tone for this brand new song with a vintage appeal: that late 60s rock n’ roll flavor merged with more contemporary elements which ends up creating a very catchy piece, surely in vogue with the summer.
Moreover, this piece presents a very interesting contrast between melody and lyrics: while the song narrates about heartbreak, yet it sounds very joyful, as a classic summer hit should be. “In every relationship there’s a reacher and a settler © HIMYM :) This is the anthem for the reachers'”.
